**Tuesday The Sky** is the atmospheric solo project of Jim Matheos, best known as the guitarist and founding member of progressive metal icons Fates Warning. Launched in 2017 as a departure from his heavier roots, the project blends cinematic soundscapes, ambient textures, and ethereal guitar work, creating immersive instrumental journeys. Matheos describes it as a “meditative” outlet for experimentation, drawing inspiration from nature and introspective themes.

The project debuted with *Drift* (2017), a serene album featuring collaborators like drummer Lloyd Hanney, and returned in 2023 with *The Blurred Horizon*, which introduced haunting guest vocals from Anna Lynne Williams (Trespassers William). While less riff-driven than Fates Warning, Tuesday The Sky maintains Matheos’ knack for evocative melodies, weaving layers of synths, pianos, and loops into dreamlike compositions.
