Call of Charon

Call of Charon is a German deathcore band from Duisburg, formed in 2006 with a brief hiatus between 2014 and 2015. Known for their heavy yet melodic sound, they have built a strong reputation in the European metal scene through relentless touring and powerful releases. Their music blends crushing riffs, intense vocals, and precise musicianship, creating a dynamic mix of death metal violence and modern melodic elements. Over the years, they have performed at major festivals like Wacken Open Air and supported big names such as Napalm Death and Unearth.

Their discography includes notable works like the 2019 album *Plaguebearer*, the critically acclaimed 2022 EP *The Sound of Sorrow*, and their 2025 full-length album *Tales of Tragedy*, which features guest vocalists including Dane Evans and Damien Moyal.
