Nord Electric

**Nord Electric** is a trans-European shoegaze and dream pop band formed in 2022 by Mark Gardener, the vocalist of iconic UK band Ride, and Giulio Sangiraldi, guitarist for Italian shoegaze veterans Votiva Lux. Their mutual love for music and football sparked the collaboration, which soon grew after they recruited legendary drummer Neil Conti, known for working with Prefab Sprout, David Bowie, and Mick Jagger. Nord Electric’s debut EP, *Loneliness For Sale* (2025), showcases their lush blend of shimmering guitars, reverb-heavy textures, and catchy melodies that mix dream pop, shoegaze, and indie rock influences into a sound that’s both intimate and expansive.

Their music features crisp, layered guitar work, subtle fuzz, and effortless vocals that create a nostalgic yet fresh vibe, with standout tracks like the title song "Loneliness For Sale" and "Traces" highlighting their dynamic songwriting and rhythmic depth.
