Fernando Knopf is a multifaceted musician born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1977. His musical journey began at home, surrounded by jazz, classical, and South American music. Knopf started studying piano, music theory, and vocal training at the age of 14, with notable instruction in bass guitar. Over the years, he has established himself as a bassist, pianist, producer, composer, arranger, and educator. He has released several albums, including "La Música es Sentimientos," which was released in 2014, and his debut CD "Fernando Knopf Latin Jazz Band," released in 2006, featuring collaborations with renowned guest artists.
Knopf's musical career spans across continents, with performances at prominent venues such as the Red Sea Jazz Festival, Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, and in New York City at the Zinc Bar Jazz Club and Café Wha. He has also worked with notable artists like Matti Caspi, Shalom Hanoch, and Rita, among others. His band, the Fernando Knopf NYC Quintet, features musicians like Itai Kriss and Norbert Goldberg. Knopf has also produced notable shows, including a sold-out concert with Grammy winner Marlow Rosado.
