Fläsket Brinner (which hilariously translates to "The Flesh is Burning") is a legendary Swedish instrumental prog-rock/jazz fusion band that lit up the 1970s progg scene—Sweden’s radical answer to progressive rock. Known for their hypnotic blend of psychedelic grooves, fuzzy guitars, and sax-driven improvisations, they dropped their self-titled debut in 1971, becoming cult favorites for their wild live energy and genre-blurring sound. Though they originally called it quits in the mid-’70s, they roared back in the 2000s, reigniting their fiery jams for new generations.
