The Ting Tings

The Ting Tings, an English indie pop duo formed in 2007, is known for their eclectic mix of pop, punk, and electronic music. Consisting of Katie White and Jules De Martino, The Ting Tings burst onto the music scene with their debut album "We Started Nothing" which spawned the hit singles "That's Not My Name" and "Shut Up and Let Me Go," both of which revealed the band's penchant for catchy hooks and energetic performances. The band’s approach to music has always been hands-on, with both members deeply involved in the writing, production, and instrumental aspects of their work, distinguishing themselves with their DIY ethos in the production of their music and visuals.

Over the years, The Ting Tings have experimented with their sound, incorporating various genres and influences, as seen in their subsequent albums and varied remixes of their tracks. Their recent releases, such as "The Black Light (Manchester Version)," "Blacklight (Niahm Remix)," and "Fine & Dandy (DoubleD Remix)," among others, showcase their ability to reinvent their music through collaboration with different producers and remixers. This adaptability and willingness to explore new musical territories have helped The Ting Tings maintain a loyal fanbase and a dynamic presence in the music industry, continuing to captivate audiences with their evolving sound.
