Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario in 1997. The group was originally comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Adam Gontier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson, and bassist Brad Walst. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2003, launched them into the limelight with the hit single "I Hate Everything About You," which resonated with audiences worldwide. The band's music is characterized by its post-grunge sound, blending heavy guitar riffs with accessible melodies and introspective lyrics exploring themes of pain, frustration, and defiance.
Over the years, Three Days Grace has consistently maintained their presence in the rock scene through their dynamic and evolving sound. Following the departure of Adam Gontier in 2013, the band welcomed Matt Walst, Brad Walst's brother, as the new lead vocalist. Their subsequent albums, including "Human" (2015) and "Outsider" (2018), have continued to garner commercial success and chart-topping singles like "Painkiller" and "I Am Machine." Three Days Grace is known for their electrifying live performances and a strong connection with their fanbase. Their latest release, "EXPLOSIONS," further demonstrates their ability to adapt and push the boundaries of their genre while remaining true to the raw energy that has defined their music for over two decades.
