Telstar Drugs

Telstar Drugs was a post-punk band that formed in Calgary and later relocated to Montreal. The band consisted of David Lavoie (bass until 2014), Alex Lavoie (drums), Michael Halls (guitar & vocals), Raff Macmahan/Raf Wilcot (guitar & vocals), and Josh Boguski (bass from 2014 onwards). They released several albums, including "Telstar Drugs," "Endless Straight," "Weather Underground," "Sonatine," and "Young One." The band was active until they disbanded in 2016.

Their music traversed through various themes and soundscapes, reflecting their post-punk roots with a blend of dynamic rhythms and atmospheric elements. The band's discography showcases their ability to craft both introspective and energetic tracks, as seen in albums like "Sonatine" and "Young One." Despite their dissolution, Telstar Drugs left a mark on the post-punk scene with their distinctive sound and creative output during their active years.
