Ed O'Brien

Ed O’Brien is an English musician best known as the guitarist in Radiohead, where he’s recognized for his atmospheric playing, textural soundscapes, and extensive use of effects that help shape the band’s distinctive sonic palette. Beyond guitar, he’s also contributed backing vocals in Radiohead and has been involved in various side projects over the years.

In 2020, O’Brien stepped further into the spotlight with his solo project EOB, releasing his debut album *Earth*, which leans into expansive, rhythm-driven, and often uplifting alternative/electronic rock. The record features collaborators including producer Flood and guitarist David Okumu, and it introduced a more front-facing side of O’Brien’s songwriting and vocal work while still carrying the immersive, layered approach he’s known for.
