Wife Patrol is an energetic trio from Indianapolis, consisting of bassist and vocalist Nicole O'Neal, guitarist and vocalist Greg O'Neill, and drummer and vocalist Natasha O'Neill. The band's music is a vibrant blend of influences, drawing from '90s grunge and alt-rock, '80s pop and new wave, and '70s punk. Their sound is characterized by powerful vocal harmonies and searing riffs, showcasing a dynamic range from heavy rock to more contemplative pieces. Wife Patrol released their debut full-length album, *Too Prickly For This World*, which encapsulates their diverse musical style and collaborative songwriting process.
Nicole O'Neal, a co-founder of Indianapolis's Woo Grl Festival, has been instrumental in promoting women and underrepresented artists in the local music scene. The band's formation was sparked by a chance meeting on New Year's Eve between 2014 and 2015, and they began playing together in September 2015. Their music reflects a strong bond and creative synergy among the members, who each contribute unique elements to their songs. Wife Patrol's releases, such as *Equinox* and *Valentine Citrus*, continue to showcase their evolving sound and energetic live performances.
