Fabio Martino

Fabio Martino is a Brazilian pianist who began playing piano at just five years old on his grandmother's instrument; she was a piano teacher in São Paulo. After extensive training in top music academies in Brazil and Germany, he quickly rose to international acclaim, winning over 20 first prizes in prestigious piano competitions, including Latin America’s largest international piano contest and the German Association of Arts and Culture competition. Known for his exceptional technical skill and charismatic stage presence, Martino performs a broad repertoire ranging from well-known concertos by Beethoven, Mozart, and Rachmaninov to lesser-played works by Brazilian composers like Villa-Lobos, Mignone, and Guarnieri.

Martino’s artistry is marked by both virtuosity and emotional depth, earning him comparisons to piano legends such as Nelson Freire and Martha Argerich. He has performed at major venues worldwide, including the Sala São Paulo, Berlin Philharmonic, Rio Opera House, and the Miami International Piano Festival. His discography includes critically acclaimed albums featuring composers ranging from Brahms to Mignone, and he frequently collaborates with prominent orchestras such as the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra.
