FIDLAR, an acronym for "Fuck It Dog, Life's a Risk," is a skate punk/garage punk band based in Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 2009 and quickly gained notoriety for their raucous live performances and a sound that encapsulates the carefree and often reckless spirit of West Coast skate culture. Comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Zac Carper, bassist Brandon Schwartzel, and brothers Elvis and Max Kuehn on guitar and drums respectively, FIDLAR delivers a blend of punk, surf rock, and lo-fi music that resonates with themes of youth, substance abuse, and the struggles of the modern era.
