MIRADOR is a dynamic rock band co-founded by Jake Kiszka, the GRAMMY® Award-winning guitarist and vocalist of Greta Van Fleet, and Chris Turpin, the acclaimed co-vocalist and guitarist from the British duo Ida Mae. The two met in 2018 during joint tours and bonded over their shared passion for blues and classic songwriting. In 2023, they began writing together in Nashville, quickly crafting a distinctive sound that blends sky-shaking rock ’n’ roll with influences from ancient myths, traditional folklore, and Delta blues. The band is completed by drummer Mikey Sorbello and bassist/keyboardist Nicki Pini, both virtuosos from London’s underground jazz and rock scenes.
After opening for Greta Van Fleet on their 2024 Starcatcher World Tour, MIRADOR headed straight into the studio with GRAMMY® producer Dave Cobb to record their self-titled debut album live in just two weeks. Their music features thunderous vocal call-and-response, vibrant six-string guitar work, and evocative lyrics that create a unique musical mythology. MIRADOR is praised for its fiery, fearless energy and commitment to pushing rock’s boundaries, with critics highlighting the natural chemistry between Kiszka and Turpin as a driving force. Their debut single “Feels Like Gold” and follow-up “Fortune’s Fate” showcase a mature yet wild sound ready to ignite a new rock movement, with a full album released in 2025 and ongoing tours planned across the US and beyond.
