Sweet Apple

Sweet Apple is an American rock supergroup formed from the ashes of notable alternative and indie bands, born from a collaboration that bridges geographic divides and fuses individual musical legacies. The band's lineup consists of guitarist and vocalist John Petkovic (frontman of Cobra Verde and guitarist for Death of Samantha), drummer J Mascis (iconic figure of Dinosaur Jr.), bassist Tim Parnin (also from Cobra Verde), and guitarist Dave Sweetapple (from Witch). Sweet Apple's collective DNA weaves elements of punk rock, indie, and classic rock, giving them a distinct sound that melds raw energy with catchy melodicism.

Having released their self-titled debut album "Sweet Apple" to acclaim, the band has continued to carve a niche for their infectious tunes and spirited performances. Following albums like "Love & Desperation" showcased the group's knack for combining heartfelt lyrical content with driving guitars and a solid rhythmic foundation. The albums "The Golden Age of Glitter" and "Sing the Night in Sorrow" further expand their sound, with the latter adding a more introspective atmosphere to their vigorous rock palette. Sweet Apple's reverence for rock's golden eras, combined with their seasoned artistry, ensures that each release, including notable tracks like "Wish You Could Stay" and their rendition of "Elected," is a fresh yet familiar journey through the landscapes of rock 'n' roll.
