Fancy Gap is a folk-rock band from Asheville, North Carolina. The band was formed in 2014 by husband and wife duo, Matthew and Rebekah Johnson. Their music is a blend of traditional folk melodies and modern indie rock sensibilities. Fancy Gap's lyrics are often introspective and poetic, exploring themes of love, loss, and the human condition. The band has released four albums to date, including their self-titled debut in 2015 and their latest album, "Strawberry Moon," in 2022. Fancy Gap has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as The Avett Brothers, John Prine, and Brandi Carlile.
