Heimland

Heimland is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 2016 on the western coast of Norway, specifically Karmøy and later Bergen. Founded by drummer Kristian Magnussen Olsen (aka Lord Thamuz), with vocalists Sindre Stonghaugen (aka Gnist) and Oliver Kartevold Pettit (aka Alfhar), Heimland embraces a raw, authentic black metal style that harks back to the roots of the genre, avoiding modern trends and focusing on intense atmosphere and emotion. Their music explores themes tied to heritage and identity, capturing a timeless feel despite their relatively recent formation.

The band has released several singles and EPs, including tracks like "Vagrant" and the album "Forfedrenes Taarer."
