Fred Fisher (1875-1942) was an American songwriter and music publisher. He wrote over 500 songs, including the popular hits "Come, Josephine, in My Flying Machine" and "Peg o' My Heart." Fisher was also a pioneer in the field of music publishing, and he helped to establish the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
