Gatillazo is a Spanish punk rock band that originated in the Basque Country. The group was formed by Evaristo Páramos, the former frontman of the iconic punk bands La Polla Records and The Kagas. Gatillazo came into existence after La Polla Records disbanded in 2003 and marked a continuation of Evaristo's distinctive and politically charged musical journey. With lyrics that often critique social and political issues, Gatillazo maintains the rebellious spirit and raw energy that Evaristo is known for.
Since their inception, Gatillazo has released a steady stream of albums and singles that resonate with the punk scene in Spain and beyond. Their self-titled debut album "Gatillazo" set the tone for their no-holds-barred style. The band's subsequent releases, such as "Sangre y Mierda," "Siglo XXI," and "Esclavos del Siglo XXI," have continued to showcase their commitment to the punk ethos, both musically and thematically. "Cómo Convertirse en Nada" and "Lo Mejor de Gatillazo" are some of their more recent offerings, cementing their status as one of the most consistent and outspoken acts in the modern punk landscape, deftly blending raw guitars, high energy, and unapologetically direct lyrics.
