Mark Nevin

Mark Nevin is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist best known as the creative force behind 80s pop darlings Fairground Attraction (remember "Perfect"?). Since the band's split, he's crafted a delightfully eclectic solo career blending folk, pop, and storytelling charm. Recent releases like "Dolly Said No to Elvis" and "My Unfashionable Opinion" showcase his knack for vivid character sketches wrapped in melodic warmth. A respected collaborator, Nevin's penned tunes for everyone from Morrissey to Eddi Reader while maintaining his own distinct voice – part whimsical troubadour, part sharp social observer. His 2023 album *Shining On The Hill* proves he's still spinning quietly brilliant tales from the margins of pop culture.
