Cassia Hardy

Cassia Hardy is a musician from Edmonton, Alberta, known for her work as the singer and guitarist of the Canadian rock band Wares. Born male, Hardy identifies as female and has been part of Edmonton's music scene for years, initially gaining recognition as a member of several local bands before focusing on Wares. With Wares, she has released two full-length albums: a self-titled debut in 2017 and *Survival* in 2020, the latter of which was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize.
