Liminal Drifter

Liminal Drifter is the musical project of Dr. Simon Order, an Australian-based electronic music artist. He began creating music under this moniker in 2013 after moving to Western Australia in 2005. Order has a diverse musical background, previously working as part of the project dUB Rumble and collaborating with UK prog rockers Galahad and the Dorset funk band The Bird Tribe. Under Liminal Drifter, he explores a range of electronic genres, from downtempo dream-pop to shimmering electronica, often evoking a sense of emotional depth in his music. His works include notable releases such as *Cortisol 22* and *The Dreams*, showcasing his ability to craft dreamy, evocative soundscapes.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Dr. Order is an academic at Murdoch University in Perth, focusing on radio and music technology research. This blend of artistic and academic interests contributes to the unique sonic identity of Liminal Drifter, which is characterized by its exploration of identities, places, and states of consciousness through music.
