FaceMan

FaceMan is the psychedelic solo project of Denver-based musician Steve Albertson, best known as co-founder of the legendary gothic country outfit Slim Cessna's Auto Club. This genre-bending maestro crafts swirling, atmospheric rock that blends desert-worn Americana with spacey synth textures and a dash of art-punk energy. Since launching FaceMan in 2016, Albertson has become a cult favorite in Colorado's music scene, delivering raw, existential musings through tracks like the haunting "Big Water" and the industrial-tinged "Work" (2023) that feel like fever dreams of modern Americana.
