Sound Sultan, born Olanrewaju Fasasi on November 27, 1976, was a revered Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, and comedian who left an indelible mark on the Nigerian music industry with his unique blend of rap, afrobeat, reggae, and soul. A native of Ogun State, Sound Sultan, became interested in music in high school and cultivated his talents as a multi-dimensional artist, capable of conveying socially-conscious messages with his lyrical prowess.

His career, which spanned over two decades, kicked off in the 1990s and solidified in 2000 with the release of the hit single, "Jagbajantis," putting him on the map as a voice conscious of societal issues and the struggles of the common man.
