Absinthe Green

Absinthe Green is the musical project led by Greek-born songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Eirini "Absinthe Green." Starting as a solo project in 2016 in Dortmund, Germany, it evolved into a full band after Eirini moved back to Athens around 2019–2021, joining forces with drummer Harry Mason, bassist Villy Pirris, and guitarist Panos Economakis. The band's sound blends alternative metal and hard rock with a rich mix of influences, characterized by a powerful yet melodic vocal style, skillful guitar work, and emotionally raw songwriting that explores themes of love, pain, grief, and redemption.

Their debut album, *Of Love and Pain*, released in 2025 and produced by renowned Hiili Hiilesmaa, captures a dynamic emotional spectrum, combining heavy instrumentation with accessible melodies and personal lyrics. The album—and Absinthe Green's music overall—reflects a balance between strength and vulnerability, forging a connection with listeners through confessional and cathartic expression. The project grew from solo experimentation into a band celebrated for its fusion of intensity and melodic beauty, making Absinthe Green a compelling voice in the alternative metal and hard rock scenes.
