Pilot

**Pilot** is a Russian rock band formed on January 11, 1997, in St. Petersburg by Ilya Knabenbauer, known as Ilya Chert. The group emerged from the dissolution of the band Military Jane, which was influential in the St. Petersburg grunge scene. Initially, Pilot's lineup included Ilya Chert on vocals, Roman Chuykov on guitar, Stanislav Markov on bass, and Viktor Kuzmichyov on drums. Over the years, the band has explored various styles such as punk-rock, hard-rock, grunge, and industrial metal. They have been active in the music scene, regularly releasing new albums and performing at numerous festivals.

Pilot's music career has been marked by a diverse range of releases, including recent works like "Провода," "Прорвёмся," "Полюбить не просто," and "Челябинск - Шамбала." The band continues to tour and produce music, maintaining a strong presence in the Russian rock scene. Their evolution from English-language songs to predominantly Russian-language compositions reflects their growth and adaptation over the years.
