Haast Hunter

Haast Hunter is a hard rock trio from Hamilton, New Zealand, known for their energetic and eclectic sound. The band consists of founding members James Harper on lead vocals and guitar, Chris Gudsell on bass, and Mitch Walker on drums, who joined earlier in 2024. Their music has gained significant attention, with their debut single "Sunshine" being described as a harmonious fusion reminiscent of Soundgarden and Metallica, and it has amassed over 500,000 streams on Spotify. Haast Hunter has also received airplay on more than 50 radio stations worldwide.
