Pil

Pil, whose full name is Pil Kalinka Nygaard Jeppesen, is a Danish singer and songwriter who has made a significant impact on the Danish music scene in recent years. Born in 1991, Pil grew up in Farum where she learned to play piano as a child. Initially studying psychology at Aarhus University, Pil pivoted to music in 2016, releasing her debut single "Nattely" in 2018.

Known for her hits like "Dronning af Månen," "Nattely," and "Omvendt" (the latter co-written with Andreas Odbjerg), Pil has established herself as a rising star in Danish indie pop. Her debut album "Kom Vi Flyver, Siger Du" was released in 2022, followed by "Hvis Du Tør At Drømme" in 2024. Pil's music, characterized by its uplifting and playful pop universe, often explores themes of strange emotions and awkward feelings.
