Shaki Tavi

Shaki Tavi is an LA-based shoegaze and noise pop project led by frontman and guitarist/vocalist Leon Mosburg (also known as Leon Manson), originally from Oklahoma. Known for a loud, layered sound characterized by multiple guitars and keyboards, Shaki Tavi started as a six-piece band but has evolved into a project that blends the wall-of-sound noise typical of shoegaze with melodic and pop elements. Their debut self-titled album came out in 2022, followed by their sophomore release *Minor Slip* in 2025 on the Felte label. This latest album continues to explore dream pop, psychedelia, and electronica, reflecting Mosburg's experience of burnout and disillusionment but also his desire to infuse fun and brightness into the music.
