Santtu-Matias Rouvali
Santtu-Matias Rouvali is a Finnish conductor who has gained international recognition for his dynamic and expressive performances. Born in Lahti, Finland, in 1985, Rouvali began his musical journey at a young age, studying violin and conducting. He later attended the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where he honed his skills under the guidance of renowned conductors such as Jorma Panula and Esa-Pekka Salonen. Rouvali's talent and dedication have led him to lead prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
