Fuente de Barro

**Fuente de Barro** is a Madrid-based indie rock quartet blending gritty psychedelic textures with post-punk urgency. Formed in 2016 by vocalist/guitarist Carlos García and bassist Marta López, later joined by drummer Pablo Martín and synth player Ana Torres, the band carved its identity through raw, poetic explorations of urban decay and existential drift. Their 2023 EP *Ecosistemas*—featuring tracks like the brooding “Desiertos Azules” and the hypnotic “Sed”—showcases their signature balance of distorted grooves and desert-rock atmospherics. Known for DIY gigs in abandoned factories and cryptic lyricism, they’ve become cult favorites in Spain’s underground scene, channeling influences from Sonic Youth to Andalusia’s flamenco grit. Their live shows, often accompanied by DIY projection art, feel like séances for disenchanted millennials.
