Dave Revels

Dave Revels is a seasoned singer-songwriter, producer, and entertainer with over 40 years in the music industry. He first made his mark in the early 1970s as the lead singer of the R&B group Zenith on a CBS Records subsidiary label, then joined the legendary vocal group The Drifters in the 1980s, touring globally and sharing stages with icons like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and The Temptations. These experiences shaped his unique, genre-defying style—he’s written and performed in genres ranging from reggae and calypso to rock, folk, and country.

Today, Dave Revels is celebrated as a lead vocalist and arranger for the legendary a cappella group The Persuasions, and he continues to write, produce, and release his own music, connecting with audiences through heartfelt performances and classic showmanship. His recent releases, like “Anytime You’re Close To Me” and “A Good Jamaican Woman,” showcase his rich musical range and commitment to authentic storytelling. He’s also an author and the force behind the Stand Up America Goodwill Tour, bringing music and community to audiences nationwide.
