Eugène Bozza was a French composer and conductor born in Nice, France, in 1905. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and became known for his compositions for wind instruments, particularly the saxophone. Bozza's music is characterized by its lyrical melodies, rhythmic vitality, and colorful harmonies. He composed over 200 works, including concertos, sonatas, and chamber music. Bozza also served as the director of the Paris Conservatory from 1959 to 1962. He passed away in 1991, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful and enduring music.
