Black Duck is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Sam Evian, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Mike Johnson. Black Duck's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, which incorporates elements of folk, rock, and electronica. The band has released two EPs, "Black Duck" (2019) and "Lemon Treasure" (2020), and is currently working on their debut album.
