Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers

Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers were an American doo-wop group formed in 1955 in Washington Heights, New York City. The group consisted of Frankie Lymon (lead vocals), Herman Santiago (first tenor), Sherman Garnes (second tenor), Joe Negroni (baritone), and Jimmy Merchant (bass). They are best known for their hit songs "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" and "Goody Goody." The group disbanded in 1960, but Lymon continued to perform as a solo artist until his death in 1968.
