Adwaith

**Adwaith** is a Welsh indie rock trio from Carmarthen, known for their dreamy, post-punk sound and lyrics sung entirely in Welsh. Formed in 2015, the band—Hollie Singer (vocals/guitar), Gwenllian Anthony (bass/keyboard), and Heledd Owen (drums)—quickly made waves with their debut album *Melyn* (2018), which snagged the Welsh Music Prize. Their music blends moody atmospherics with catchy hooks, channeling themes of identity, youth, and Welsh culture.

In 2022, they dropped their bold sophomore album *Bato Mato*, featuring tracks like "Sudd" and "MWY," showcasing a grittier, more experimental edge. Recent singles like "Lan Y Môr" and "ETO" continue to cement their reputation as innovators in Wales’ thriving indie scene.
