Klapa Cesarice

Klapa Cesarice is a beloved all-female **klapa** group from Croatia, formed in 1993 by a bunch of mostly Dalmatian-origin female students who kicked off their journey with the purest, most heartfelt a cappella style straight out of Dalmatian tradition. These ladies have kept the spirit of klapa—think tight harmonies celebrating love, the sea, and homeland—alive through albums like *Cesarice 3* (2009), which snagged two prestigious Porin awards in 2010 for best klapa performance on "Zapivala tica mala" and best klapa album, plus cool collabs like *Klapa Cesarice & Edin Karamazov* (2013) blending their vocals with lute magic, and fresh releases such as *Oj, vulica* and *Takeda no Komoriuta*.
