Çetin Akdeniz

Çetin Akdeniz is a renowned Turkish bağlama virtuoso born on September 15, 1967, in Istanbul. He received formal training at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, establishing a solid foundation in traditional Turkish music. Over his career, he has contributed his expert bağlama skills to albums of famous artists before releasing his own acclaimed works, including the albums *Anadolu'da Ezgiler* and *Bağlama Virtüözü*. Known for his masterful technique and deep connection to Anatolian folk traditions, Akdeniz continues to be a prominent figure in Turkish music.

Beyond his recordings, Akdeniz actively engages in preserving and promoting traditional Turkish music, sharing his insights and performances in cultural events such as the Burdur Living Heritage Museum.
