Felton Offard is a Chicago-based guitarist, composer, producer, and educator known for his versatility and deep musical roots. Growing up in Freeport, Illinois, he fell in love with the guitar at a young age and went on to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music from Northern Illinois University. Over the years, Felton has worked with a wide range of artists, from pop legend Barry Manilow to soulful crooner Peabo Bryson, and has lent his talents to major productions like Hamilton, The Color Purple, and The Addams Family. Whether he’s music directing, arranging, or performing, Felton brings a dynamic energy and a spiritual touch to everything he does.
Beyond the stage and studio, Felton is passionate about sharing his knowledge and has taught guitar and music production at Chicago State University. His recent releases—like “Step On It (Keep It Moving),” “Invincible,” “My Body Is a Temple!,” and “Rise”—showcase his ability to blend uplifting messages with infectious grooves.
