Full Devil Jacket

Full Devil Jacket emerged from the late 1990s hard rock scene with a style that fused elements of heavy metal, post-grunge, and alternative rock. Hailing from Jackson, Tennessee, the band was initially formed in 1995 under the name The Voodoo Hippies. After adopting the Full Devil Jacket moniker, they garnered significant attention with their self-titled EP, "A Wax Box..." in 1997. Their sound was characterized by gritty, powerful vocals, commanding guitar riffs, and a relentless, driving rhythm section, which helped them to carve out a niche in the rock landscape of the time.

The band's rise was punctuated by the release of their self-titled debut album, "Full Devil Jacket," in 2000, which propelled them to mainstream success. The album featured tracks that received heavy rotation on rock radio and the band toured extensively, playing alongside notable acts and at major music festivals. After a hiatus, Full Devil Jacket made a full-fledged return to the scene with "Valley of Bones" in 2015. This album, along with an accompanying track-by-track commentary, marked their first release in 15 years and saw them revisiting their hard rock roots while showcasing a matured musicianship and lyrical depth. Despite changes in the band's lineup and the evolving musical landscape, Full Devil Jacket's enduring passion and raw energy continue to resonate with fans both old and new.
