The Real Group

The Real Group is a Swedish a cappella ensemble recognized globally for their distinctive blend of jazz, pop, and nordic choral music. Formed in 1984, while the original members were attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the group consists of five vocal artists who have honed their craft to perfection, orchestrating their voices to create a soundscape that often leaves audiences mesmerized by the absence of any instrumental accompaniment. Their music encompasses a rich spectrum of groovy beats, complex harmonies, and sublime melodies, which they frequently imbibe with a touch of typical Swedish folk flavor.

Throughout their illustrious career, The Real Group has consistently showcased their versatility and exceptional skill, releasing numerous albums, touring worldwide, and participating in a cappella workshops to inspire and educate. They have also worked with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, pop bands, and even international artists which reflects their adaptability and widespread appeal. In their more recent works such as "Santamagic" and "It Becomes Her," they continue to push the boundaries of vocal music, combining innovation with their long-standing tradition of musical excellence. Their deep connection to nature and humanity is often reflected in their lyrical content, as evidenced in songs like "World on Our Shoulders (Resolution Song)" and "Water". The Real Group's commitment to creating honest, heartfelt music remains as steadfast as ever, maintaining their place as one of the premier a cappella groups on the world stage.
