Runyu Qian

Runyu Qian is a talented fusion singer-songwriter from China known for blending traditional Chinese music with modern genres like R&B, pop, and EDM. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a focus on Electronic Production and Design, she masterfully weaves Chinese ethnic instruments into contemporary sounds, as showcased on her debut album *FUSS!ON*, which received critical acclaim. She’s performed on popular Chinese shows and collaborated with artists such as Aurora and Grammy-winning producer Jay Centry, further expanding her creative range.

In addition to her music career, Runyu has been an ambassador for Apple Music Dolby Atmos Audio in Mainland China and has composed theme songs for big brands like BYD and Lancôme. She launched her first national tour in late 2024 with stops in major Chinese cities and recently performed at SXSW 2025 in Austin, where her unique fusion of the Chinese pipa with modern music caught notable attention. Runyu Qian continues to stand out as a versatile artist boldly bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions.
