Daily Toll

Daily Toll is a Sydney-based three-piece band formed in 2021, initially started as a project by self-taught musician, poet, and artist Kata Szász-Komlós alongside Jasper Craig-Adams, with Tom Stephens joining later to complete the trio. Their debut album, "A Profound Non-Event," released in June 2025 through Tough Love Records, showcases a blend of haunting melodies and poetic spoken word, drawing comparisons to Dunedin sound acts like The Bats and The Chills. The band's music carries a gentle, evocative quality with a touch of raw, handmade charm evident in their recordings and videos. Their releases such as "Waiting Game," "Fleeting," and "Killincs" reflect a captivating, intimate aesthetic rooted in Szász-Komlós's poetic imagery and the group's collaborative musicianship.
