Heavy Sleeper is a band known for their unique blend of alt-rock, shoegaze, and post-punk elements, which they describe as "space punk." The band members, Jordan Kulp on guitar/vocals, St. John Faulkner on drums, Todd Johnson on bass, and Quentin Singer on guitar, initially met in Boston during college. They began writing songs together during late-night basement sessions, eventually forming Heavy Sleeper. Their music often explores themes of isolation and introspection. Recent releases include the EP *CHIME*, which showcases their growth in melodic hooks and songwriting, as well as singles like *Astral*.

Heavy Sleeper's style is characterized by atmospheric and dense soundscapes, with vocalist Jordan Kulp delivering lyrics with a casual coolness that draws listeners into a reflective state. The band's members are currently spread across the US, with some based in LA, one in Nashville, and another in NYC, but they continue to collaborate on music projects. Their debut EP *Alive & Well*, released in 2017, marked an early milestone in their career, featuring tracks like "Night Swim" that showcased their ability to craft immersive musical experiences.
