The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Frankel, bassist and vocalist Jake Faber, and drummer and vocalist Ethan Miller. The band's sound has been described as a mix of indie rock, dream pop, and shoegaze. Clinic Stars have released two EPs, "Only Hinting" and "April's Past," and are currently working on their debut album.
