Robert McCormick
Robert McCormick is a renowned percussionist, educator, and founder of the McCormick Percussion Group. He has had a distinguished career, serving as the principal percussionist and assistant timpanist for the Florida Orchestra for 20 seasons. He is also a former member of the Harry Partch Ensemble and has conducted significant works, including the premiere performance of Chan Hae Lee’s Korean folk opera. McCormick has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Florida Music Educator of the Year Award and the Percussive Arts Society Lifetime Achievement in Education Award.
