Front Porch Step is a folk-pop duo from Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Jake McArdle and vocalist and bassist Emily Hackett. The pair met in college and began playing music together in 2010. Their sound is characterized by their warm harmonies, introspective lyrics, and acoustic-driven melodies. Front Porch Step has released several EPs and albums, including "Aware" (2022), "Help Me Hurt" (2021), and "I Never Loved Before I Found You" (2020). Their music has been featured on popular TV shows and in films, and they have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
