Dear Eloise, also known as 亲爱的艾洛伊丝, is a Chinese rock band formed in Beijing around 2008. The duo consists of Yang Haisong and Sun Xia, both former members of the band P.K.14. They are known for creating lo-fi DIY recordings that blend elements of shoegaze, indie pop, noise rock, and experimental music. Notably, they do not perform live but have garnered a loyal following in both the Chinese independent music scene and internationally. Their music often features a blend of simple, beautiful melodies with layered, dreamy soundscapes.
Their discography includes albums such as *The Words That Were Burnt* (2010), *美丽陌生人* (2011), *Farewell To The Summer* (2014), *Uncontrollable, Ice Age Stories* (2016), and *They Slipped Away From My Mind Just Like This* (2019). Despite their low-profile approach to music distribution, Dear Eloise has achieved recognition through labels like Maybe Mars and Genjing Records.
