Sainthood Reps

Sainthood Reps is an alternative rock band hailing from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2009 by longtime friends Derrick Sherman (formerly of Brand New) and Francesco Montesanto, the band blends elements of post-hardcore, grunge, and indie rock into a dynamic, guitar-driven sound. Their music features a raw, emotive energy with influences from acts like Sonic Youth and Fugazi, and they’ve often been praised for their intense live performances.

The band released their debut album, Monoculture, in 2011 through Tooth & Nail Records, which showcased their gritty yet melodic approach. They followed it up in 2013 with Headswell, a record that sharpened their sound and earned critical praise for its depth and intensity. After a period of relative quiet, Sainthood Reps returned with new material in the early 2020s, including tracks like “Dull Bliss” and “Surfer,” signaling a strong and evolving presence in the indie rock landscape.
