The Pants

The Pants were an indie rock band from Burlington, Vermont that gained a cult following in the mid-1990s. Combining lo-fi aesthetics with strong songwriting, their sound drew comparisons to artists like Guided By Voices, Pavement, and The Pixies. The band released several albums including their self-titled debut and "Fred Sex" before breaking up near the end of the decade. In 2006, The Pants reunited for a sold-out show at Burlington's Higher Ground Ballroom.
