Flaw

Flaw is an American rock band hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, primarily known for their nu-metal style, which incorporates elements of metal with introspective and emotional lyrics. The band was originally formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Chris Volz, guitarist Jason Daunt, and drummer Chris Ballinger. They garnered attention from major record labels after releasing independent records and performing in local venues, eventually leading to a deal with Universal Records. Flaw's major label debut, 'Through the Eyes', released in 2001, gained significant attention primarily due to the hit single "Get Up Again," which showcased their raw energy and lyrical depth.

Despite going through multiple hiatuses, lineup changes, and the ebb and flow of the music industry, Flaw has persisted with their aggressive yet melodic sound. Their dedication to their craft is evident in their later works, including 'Vol IV Because of the Brave' and 'Divided We Fall', which maintained their presence in the rock scene. Their music continues to resonate with fans who are drawn to their combination of hard-hitting riffs and emotionally charged songwriting. With recent releases like "Conquer This Climb" and "United We Stand," Flaw demonstrates their commitment to their music and messages of resilience, staying relevant to a fanbase that appreciates the authenticity and passion they bring to the rock genre.
